Michael Bonanno, Owner
With more than ten year’s experience in the sign industry, Michael’s career took a fortuitous twist when the former The Total Identity Group went through a downsizing. Shortly thereafter, he and Frank Cleere, an expert in fabrication and installation, joined forces to fill the void in the market left by The Total Identity Group.
Five years later, Skylight Signs has carved out a niche in the regional sign market. The founders and staff of Skylight Sign are driven by one simple principle: commitment to quality, customers, Christian values and the importance of giving back to the community.
Michael, a native of Rochester, NY, brings an entrepreneurial approach to business having been in various real estate and professional service enterprises for his entire career. Michael, his wife and three children live in Greece.
Frank Cleere, Owner
In 1983, Frank Cleere began his career in the sign industry as an assistant with a regional sign company. Little did he know that this one move lead him to start a company of his own years later.
Upon advancing through a number of positions, including project management, estimating, and sales, all of which contributed to building his knowledge of the sign industry, Frank is considered an expert is sign fabrication and installation. He has worked on many of the Rochester area’s most high profile projects from High Falls to Village Gate.
Frank’s commitment to the sign industry and to teaching others evolved into a desire to start a company of his own. Skylight Signs is the outgrowth of that ambition. Built on Christian values and professional integrity, Skylight Signs serves businesses on a personal level where exceeding customer expectations is the rule and not the exception. Frank and his wife live in North Chili. Most noteworthy, Frank worked to engineer the design of the now iconic Hard Rock Café guitar found on many locations nationally. |
